Ask about your projectCan a pergola be planned around my existing patio?
That is where we start. We look at the patio dimensions, the doors that open onto it, access around the house, and the space needed for seating. The supporting surface and attachment approach also need to be reviewed before the design is agreed.
Which roof is right for my home?
Start with your priorities: a brighter patio, more shade, or adjustable light. The roof guide above introduces common approaches. During your consultation, we will explain which options we can offer for your particular project and include the selected specification in your estimate.
Can I choose the dimensions and finish?
We plan the solution around your measurements and discuss available configurations and finishes. Bring photographs or ideas you like; we will help you understand what can work within your space and the selected system.
Will my pergola protect against rain and snow?
Performance depends on the complete system, its roof, drainage, installation, and rated conditions. We will review the specifications for the proposed solution. An open-sided pergola should not be treated as a weather-sealed indoor room.
What will the estimate include?
We will discuss the proposed configuration, selected options, installation scope, and expected timing. If a choice changes the scope, we will review it with you before you decide to move forward.
How long does the project take?
Timing depends on the design, product availability, site preparation, and installation requirements. We will discuss the expected schedule with your estimate rather than promise the same timeline for every home.
How do I look after the pergola?
Care depends on the frame finish, roofing, and any moving parts. Follow the instructions for your selected system and ask us about routine cleaning and maintenance during the final walkthrough.
Is the first home visit free?
Yes. Olvex Home offers free in-home measurement and an estimate in our Greater Cleveland service area. You can talk through the options and review the proposal before making a decision.
